A few weeks ago we went to the opening of a bore hole for the villages in Chikankata. (Action has has built a replica village their to hold camps). A church in the U.S. has provided the well so that villagers no longer have to walk up to five km's just to get water!
We stayed in mud huts with no power or water. We cooked over fire's. We even got up at the crack of dawn to walk up a hill and watch the sunrise.
This is where the street kid camp will be held so I will have more pictures of this place next week.
It really is beautiful country.
